6 children have died in a fire at a baby care centre in Vivek Bihar, Delhi. The fire broke out at the baby care centre late on Saturday night. After this, the fire brigade team rescued 12 children admitted in the hospital, out of which 6 children have died.

A fire broke out suddenly late Saturday night at a baby care center in Vivek Vihar, the national capital Delhi. 6 children have died in this accident. Immediately after receiving the information, the fire was controlled with the help of 16 fire tenders. During this, fire brigade personnel rescued 12 newborn children. Delhi Fire Service says that it received information about a fire in a baby care center in Vivek Vihar area of East Delhi at 11.32 pm on Saturday night, after which 8 fire engines were sent to the spot. However, the cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet.

5 children are admitted in another hospital

Giving information about the incident, Delhi Police said that at the time of the fire in Vivek Vihar's New Born Baby Care Hospital, a total of 12 newborn babies were admitted, out of which 1 had died before the fire incident. Six newborn babies died in the fire and 5 others have been admitted to the hospital, who are undergoing treatment. Delhi Fire Department Director Atul Garg said that it was a very difficult operation. We formed two teams. One team started extinguishing the fire, because the cylinder had exploded. So we had to save ourselves as well. We also started a rescue operation for the children. Unfortunately, we took out all twelve children and took them to the hospital, but 7 of them have died. This is a sad incident.
