India to Get the World's Largest Cricket Stadium in Amravati

India is set to break another record in the world of cricket. A new international cricket stadium is being planned in Amravati, Andhra Pradesh, which will become the largest cricket stadium in the world. The project is led by the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) and has been approved by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The stadium will be called the ACA International Cricket Stadium. It will have a seating capacity of 1.32 lakh (132,000) — which is more than the current largest, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

According to reports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will fund 60% of the project cost. The total budget for this mega stadium is expected to be around ₹800 crore.

This new stadium will not only be the biggest in India but also the largest in the world, in terms of seating capacity. It will become a major hub for international cricket matches, tournaments, and even domestic leagues like the IPL.

The stadium’s design is expected to include modern training facilities, indoor practice nets, a world-class pitch, VIP boxes, and high-tech media centers. It will also boost tourism, local employment, and infrastructure in Amravati.

Construction is likely to begin soon, with ACA pushing to complete it as early as possible.

This is a proud moment for Indian cricket and a big step for Andhra Pradesh in the world of sports.
